Flames hammer Habs
The Novice Flames ended the regular season on a strong note Saturday afternoon.
The first period was a hard fought back and forth battle that ended scoreless.
Evan Manzke would get the scoring started for the Flames in the second period assisted by Noah Dobrzanski.
The Flames kept firing away at the Habs but couldn't score again in the second period.
The third period saw Manzke explode for three goals in a three minute span to give the Flames a huge four goal lead. Brandon Amos assisted on all three goals in the third period and Kyle Burke got one helper too.
Flames goalie Tyler Drensek was holding down the fort, fighting to keep his shutout until Tyler Hooper scored one for the Habs with just 46 seconds left in the game to make the final 4-1 for the Flames.
