God destroyed sin's control
We are approaching Easter, one of the most glorious times for the body of Christ. I know this Sunday is Palm Sunday; I have to ask, "Has the King of Glory come to your Jerusalem, the heart of your world, to the very heart of your soul?" I hope he has.

Stop complaining about gas prices!
I'm seriously considering buying a Smartcar. I've always loved compact cars, going back to my old 1980 Honda Civic (so old it had round headlights, I used to say in 1992 when I owned it). Where should we draw the line?
Traditionally we have emphasized the importance of 'separating church and state'. Somehow this appears more and more difficult as society has evolved. Once religious organizations operated schools, hospitals, orphanages and all aspects of welfare. The state now controls these social structures but controversy is built into most aspects of well being.

Value
The woman is eyeing a lovely lemon quartz teardrop wrapped in silver. She hefts it, places it to her breast and takes in her reflection in the mirror. She checks the price. Is it worth it? She decides yes, and hands me her bank card.
