I am writing to clarify a point in an article by Wes Keller stating my understanding that Mr. Thomson had made campaign contributions to all members of council, including myself. The indication was that his contributions were even-handed, open and fair and could not be construed as attempting any undue influence on any one individual member.

As it turns out I was in error and Jeff Sedgwick had not received any contributions. I apologize for that error and for any error resulting from my repeating information I had not verified.
