Re: Mulmur Debating Road Closure

I would like to thank the Free Press and Wes Keller - who wrote a balanced piece - for bringing the possible sale of the 3rd Line Road Allowance by Mulmur Council to the public's attention and thus opening it up to a broader debate - whether one is for or against it.

I also appreciate the generous offer Mr. Thompson has made to maintain a trail in honour of his grandfather. Should he buy this Road Allowance, or should Mulmur Council vote to retain control of it, and he were to subsequently prove that he did indeed have title to all or part of the roadway, I would certainly respect those decisions, and would consider it a fine tribute he has made to his grandfather with the proposed trail.
