Founders' Fair a blast at Orangeville library

2008-07-03 / Local News

Founders' Fair is promising to be a huge event in Orangeville on July 12, and the town's library will be there.

All day long at the Mill Street location, there'll be fun for the whole family. Those looking for a quick beach read can drop by the giant book sale. Pricing is by donation, so there will be plenty of great deals.

For those with inquiring minds, guided walking tours of historic Orangeville will be departing at 10:30, 1:30 and 3:30. You can sign up at the Mill St location throughout the day to ensure a spot.

You can also hear the Town Crier, or enjoy a piece of birthday cake to celebrate the library's centennial. For the adults, there are two different ways to treat yourself: Pick up a highly coveted centennial edition Orangeville Public Library tote bag; or, grab tickets to the soiree all the best-read Orangevillians will be attending this Fall - the Blast from the Past Library Dinner and Dance.
