Local organic produce featured at Market
Market on Broadway, downtown Orangeville's farmers' market, will feature full season vendor Whole Village CSA Farm this Saturday, July 26.
Organically grown herbs and produce are in abundance at this booth with many of their local crops now ready for market. If you want to see "green" produce, visit this booth!
Market friends are welcome to enter this week's free draw at the information booth to win a $25 Whole Village Shopping Voucher.
Congratulations to Emily Sherrard who won the market basket of fruits from Jose & Maria Sousa's booth. The market thanks all who supported the "Silent Auction" table of market products donated by vendors last week.
Early morning shoppers will get a good selection of fresh, local raspberries and tender Niagara fruits, plus a large selection of baked goods. Many vendors are selling out quickly and market manager Janice Gooding suggests customers place orders by phone or e-mail to ensure their deliveries at market.
The market offers beautiful lilies, roses, hostas and many more quality, locally grown perennials in the "Growers Row" on Second Street. Herb Gibson offers the wrought iron garden ornaments to complement the beautiful flowers for your gardens.
If your gardens are growing and you have extra foods to bring to market to sell, contact Market on Broadway @ 519-942- 0087 or info@marketonbroadway. ca
