Fundraising auction coming to Museum

Those visiting Corbetton Church on the grounds of the Dufferin County Museum can discover a selection of unique treasures donated by members, friends and supporters of the DCMA for a fundraising auction.

The sale includes:Furniture old, refinished and as found, old oak office desk, textiles and lace, original art, tole, depression glass, china, pressed glass, lamps, crystal, kitchenware, picture frames, books, quantity of stained glass light fixtures, bottles, tools, farm items, enamel top table, enamelware, decorator's items, large quantity of vintage costume jewellery, and many more miscellaneous and collectible items yet to be unpacked.

Proceeds will go to support the DCMA's participation in the DCMACentre Dufferin District High School Research Partnership and Canadian Battlefields Tour in November 2008.

The auction takes place this Sunday, August 10, at 10 a.m.
