As Labour Day weekend looms, about to mark the passage of another summer into the history books, the Orangeville Crushers are well on their way to begin writing some new history for themselves. Next Friday night September 5th, the Crushers will take to the ice of the Alder Street Community Centre, opening their 2008-09 OPJHL Junior A season against Seguin. More ... Over the past weekend on the soccer pitches at ODSS and the Alder Street Community Centre, Orangeville Storm Minor Soccer wrapped up the 2008 house league season with their year-end championship. A total of over 1300 players and coaches representing 74 teams in 10 divisions from Under 6 through to Under 18 took part in the event.
