OVER 200 young outdoor enthusiasts converged on the Luther Marsh Wildlife Management Area this past Saturday, participating in the annual Youth Outdoors Day. This event was created to introduce youth to outdoors activities and help them gain an appreciation for their natural environment. The event was free to registered participants thanks to the generous support of a large number of sponsor and featured a number of demonstrations and event stations ranging from archery, fish identification and fly-casting through to trapping, taxidermy and wetland discovery.
