Mono to host Halloween party

The Town of Mono will host a Children's Halloween Party at the Mono Centre Community Centre on Sunday, October 26 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The event will feature Al the Pal, a haunted house, children's crafts, and a costume parade and contest (for five different age categories).

For $5, those attending will be able to enjoy a hot dog,, a drink, and cookies. Advance registration is strongly recommended for the popular event. To reserve tickets, call Judy at 519-941-3599 Ext. 24 before Thursday, Oct. 23. There is no charge for children under two years of age.

To wrap up the festivities a Halloween treat will be handed out at the front door as participants leave.

"The annual Halloween party has proven to be a great opportunity for families to enjoy some time together and have some fun," said Mayor Lorie Haddock.
