Midget AE Flyers

The Flyers faced off against an old nemesis in a physical match, racking up 82 penalty minutes in total in a game they should have won against Stoney Creek recently.

Orangeville appeared to be all over their opponents despite Stoney Creek opening the scoring early in the first.

The Flyers tied it up with a few minutes left in the first after Josh Creed found the target with the help of Zack Zolteck and Dustin Smith.

Orangeville continued to dominate through the second when Aaron Thomas executed his pass from Robert Farace to make it 2-1.

Before the second period had ended Farace who lead the offence put the Flyers up another on his unassisted shot to the bullseye.

Stoney Creek regrouped during the flood, narrowing the gap early in the third.

Orangeville answered back four minutes later with Farace chalking up his second goal of the night with the help of Doug Ainscough.

Playing shorthanded, the Flyers had all but left the arena with the win until with just fourteen seconds left to play, Stoney Creek scrambled in front of the Flyers net and rolled one in to tie the game at 4-4.
