ACTS Elites U17 squad found themselves in Hamilton this past weekend, playing in their first tournament of the year.

In opening round pool play, the Elites squad squared off against the Durham Attack, Georgian Cubs and Stouffville, placing second with a 2-1 record.

Afternoon action put them in play against second place teams from the other pools.

Hooking up first against Barrie, the Elites put together back to back wins to defeat Barrie but a tough Aurora Storm squad was more than they could handle, eliminating the local girls in three.

Overall in the tournament standings, ACTS Elites earned themslves a fifth place finish which should bode well for the remainder of this season which picks up the pace in January.
