Caledon murder probe extends to Dufferin
      An eight-month investigation into the murder of Ariel Besley in Caledon last May has now been broadened to include Orangeville and Shelburne, as well as Hamilton, Owen Sound and other areas. Police say the 18-yearold Brampton man was shot to death. His body was found beside Old School Road on May 15, 2008.

County, Mono to mull broadband jointly
      County council is expected tonight to apply for a second round of Connecting Dufferin funding to extend broadband internet services to most of the rural areas that weren't connected in the first round.

OPP canine unit finds lost hikers in Mono Cliffs
      When Alyssa Chambers, 20, of Orangeville and Alex Lupu, 21, of Richmond Hill decided to take a short hike at Mono Cliffs Provincial Park last Friday, they weren't anticipating it turning into a 12- hour ordeal. After departing for their hike early in the afternoon of January 2, the pair lost their way and ended up finding refuge in a park outhouse.
