Pedestrian injured by car

Orangeville Police are seeking help from the public regarding an incident in which a vehicle struck a pedestrian on Sarah Street last Saturday, January 17.

The victim, a 23-yearold man, was crossing the street about 5:30 p.m. when a southbound green four-door car came around a corner.

The male driver attempted to stop but ended up striking the pedestrian.

The male driver assisted the victim and drove him to a Margaret Street residence. At the time, the victim felt he was uninjured but later experienced severe pain and called an ambulance at about 11:30 p.m.

Police want to speak with the driver, described as male white, 30-40 years old with brown hair. The male is also said to have a limp and walks with the assistance of a cane.
