Pringle work distributed across North America
Grand Valley resident S.J. (Jill) Pringle recently landed an international publishing deal that will see her "Country Children" series distributed across Canada and the United States.
Access Fine Art, one of the nation's largest publishing and distributing companies has purchased the rights to sell giclée reproductions of S.J. Pringle's "Country Children" series. These high-end, colour-accurate prints are on canvas, not paper and will be sold to stores and galleries and promoted at premier shows in Toronto and Chicago.
A portrait artist for 18 years who has often lived and worked on farms, Ms. Pringle says her "Country Children" series was inspired by her own two youngsters as well as other neighbouring farm kids. And she continues to be motivated by the people of her community.
"On nice days I usually set up my easel in front of the Dragonfly Arts on Broadway in downtown Orangeville, and am always warmed by the people that come and chat with me while I work."
You can view Ms. Pringle's work at her public studio, Dragonfly Arts on Broadway at 189 Broadway in Orangeville, 519-941-5249, or visit her website at www.sjpringle.net.
Other notable artists represented by Access Fine Art include, Douglas Laird and Michael Dumas. Access Fine Art says that as Ms. Pringle continues to expand her "Country Children" series, it will release her work as open editions.
