Muskies season ends in overtime

Day of Champions
      Orangeville Minor Hockey Association wrapped up the 2008-09 season this past weekend when they hosted their Day of Champions at the Alder Street Community Centre. 44 teams representing the top four teams in each of the 11 house league divisions from Minor Tyke to Midget, competed for bragging rights in both championship and consolation finals.

Tiger Atoms earn Provincial berth
      The Ontario Laser Atom B Tigers secured their entry into the Provincial Championships being held in Mississauga April 17-19th by defeating the North Halton Twisters 3-0 on March 7th in Milton. The Twisters had fought off elimination the week before to hang on to a 2-2 tie forcing game 3.

      Orangeville Minor Hockey wrapped up their 2008-09 season this past weekend when they held their Day of Champions at the Alder Street Community Centre. In the Minor Atom championship (top), the Canadiens never let up from start to finish, defeating the Canucks 3-0.
