The Ontario Laser Atom B Tigers secured their entry into the Provincial Championships being held in Mississauga April 17-19th by defeating the North Halton Twisters 3-0 on March 7th in Milton.

The Twisters had fought off elimination the week before to hang on to a 2-2 tie forcing game 3.

The Tigers were just too determined and dominated the game with goal scorers Alyssa Noble, Hayley Williamson and Megan Hurrell leading the way. Assists went to Avery Cooke, Karlie Peel and Tori Mugridge.

Megan Poole earned her second shutout of the series with the help of her great defence Lauren O'Malley, Samantha Sterritt and Lara Granger.

Erin Thornton and Emily Hunwicks also played hard but did not get rewarded on the score sheet.

The coaching staff was proud of their players who were missing one their defence as Lauren Albano was out of the country
