'Those days' already here

This letter is in reference to the sign on the back of my vehicles OUT OF A JOB YET? KEEP BUYING FOREIGN.

John Christie says it makes him laugh when he reads it. The backbone of manufacturing in Ontario has and continues to take major hits as foreign countries continue to take our children and grandchildren's jobs.

Mr. Christie says he fears for the day that other countries stop buying our products. Mr. Christie needs to realize that those day's are already here as Japan and Korea and other countries limit the number of Ford, General Motors and Chrysler vehicles that can be imported and sold each year in those countries.

Mr. Christie says that he travels often to work in foreign countries and I have to assume by his letter that he likes what he sees. I wonder if his children and grand children if he has any will like working in a sweat shop like so many over there. I still feel that is where manufacturing is headed in Canada unless we decide to buy Canadian first and foreign products second.
