While the guest of honour was unable to attend, proprietor Brian Bavis of Watermaker in Orangeville was toasted for his ongoing contribution to the Easter Seals Run/Walkathon, an event that has taken place for 33 years. For 25 of those, Mr. Bavis has supplied water to the participants. On hand at the Il Corso Ristorante were, left to right: Il Corso owner Mike Ingrosso, Mayor Tony Van Bynen of Newmarket (where the annual event takes place), chair Joe Persechini of Run/Walkathon, Orangeville Mayor Rob Adams and Deputy Mayor Warren Maycock, and event supporter Angelo Carlucci.
