ALL THE THRILLS, SPILLS and excitement that is rodeo will abound as the Dodge Rodeo gets ready to make another stop on their 2009 tour in Orangeville on August 1st and 2nd. Contributed Photos It's back by popular demand for a second time.

Last year's Dodge Rodeo Tour debut in Orangeville on the August long weekend turned out to be a fantastic success seeing capacity crowds on both days.

This year, the Orangeville Dodge Rodeo Committee will again present a weekend event in partnership with the Famous Fatboys BBQ Team, The Junior Farmers Organization and the Dundalk Saddle Club.

The same team will be back to present the "Spirit of the Wild West"

The Orangeville Rodeo Committee will host this mid-season event at the Orangeville Fairgrounds on Mono's 5 Sideroad.

The weekend will feature two Dodge Rodeo Tour Performances at the outdoor arena. Things kick off at 12 noon Saturday August 1 when the grounds, vendors and beer gardens open. At 2:00 you'll be treated to a 2 1.2-hour performance of the wildly popular Dodge Rodeo Tour featuring all of the standard events of traditional rodeo. The show goes rain or shine and the action is always fast and hard hitting.

After the show, everyone is invited to stick around and enjoy some of the Fatboys award winning BBQ for dinner in the Beer Garden featuring live entertainment. It doesn't stop there.

The committee will be hosting their 2nd Annual rodeo dance this year featuring live music by "Moonshine Chasers" one of the hottest bands from the Rodeo Circuit. It'll be Classic Rock, Southern Rock and Country Music to keep you moving into the night. Tickets for the dance are $12.00 at the arena doors and are first-come, first-served.

Sunday, August 2 features more of the same with a "Fatboys Country Cowboy Breakfast" and the grounds, vendors and beer gardens opening at noon. This of course leads into the Dodge Rodeo Tour performance at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets for the show will be available at the gate, at $20 for adults, $15 for Youth (6-12) and $5 for children under 5. However there will be multiple local locations where you'll be able to save $5 per ticket by purchasing them in advance.
