Sanderson to Hall of Fame

The Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame recently announced their inductee's for 2009 one of the ten new members was Orangeville native, Chris Sanderson.

Sanderson started his career playing box lacrosse with the Orangeville Northmen but left his mark primarily as a field lacrosse goalie. Backstopping the University of Virginia Cavaliers to two NCAA Final Four berths, he was also a member of numerous Team Canada teams, where he won silver medals in 1998 and 2002 as well as gold in 2006.

Sanderson was also inducted to the Orangeville Sports Hall of Fame in 2009 and currently resides with his family in Pennington, New Jersey.
