Successful tourney for the OV Bengals

The Orangeville Midget Bengals travelled to Vaughan last weekend to take part in the York Simcoe Baseball association league finals.

Game one saw Trent Barwick on the mound for the Tabbies VS Barrie.

The Bengals went quickly to the bases and Ballowed only one run in a 5-1 win for the Orangeville..

The Bengals then took on the second-seeded Aurora Jays and Kevin Buck had the Jays Batters swinging at nothing but air in a 4-0 shutout win for the kids from Orangeville.

For game three, Nick Hodgson, pitching against the Thornhill Reds, who went 21-1 for the season,

A very focussed and defensively adept Orangeville squad came away with a 3-0 shutout win..

Sunday's rain soaked events saw them playing the Markham Mariners, who managed to squeeze out a 1-0

The Bengals play the championship game this weekend in the championship final VS the Aurora Jays.
