13 more 'stunt driving' charges in Caledon

Caledon OPP says its officers are continuing "almost on a daily basis" to suspend driver's licences and seize vehicles for those travelling 50 km/h or more above the town's posted speed limits.

Between July 30 and August 11, Caledon OPP officers charged 13 persons with stunt driving, including one Brampton man who was clocked doing 210 in an 80 km/h zone.

A summary of the 13 charges:

• At 6: 40 a.m. July 30, James Lepki, 38, of Belwood was charged with driving 131 km/h on Highway 10 near Charleston Sideroad.

• At 6 a.m. July 31, Courtney Houston, 28, of Shelburne, was charged with driving 139 km/h at Highway 10 and The Forks of the Credit Road.

• 20 minutes later, Donald King, 28, of Caledon was charged with driving 130 km/h on Castlederg Sideroad and Mount Pleasant Road in a 60 km/h zone.

• At 12:45 p.m. August 1, Duke Carnegie, 31, of Brampton was charged with driving 117 km/h on Horseshoe Hill Road at The Grange Sideroad in a 60 km/h zone.

• At 9 p.m. that day, Greg Koff, 38, of North York was charged with stunt driving at Highway 10 and Boston Mills Road.

• At 9:30 a.m. August 3, Vijitharan Rajaratnam, 22, of Woodbridge, was charged with Stunt Driving at Highway 10 and Charleston Sideroad.

• At 6 p.m. August 6, Edward Chang, 64, was clocked at 132 km/h at Highway 9 and Mount Hope Rd.

• At 2:30 p.m. August 7, Jerzy Milosiewicz, 47, of Kitchener was charged with driving 133 km/h on Highway 10 at Grange Sideroad.

• Later that day, Giuseppe Spagnuolo, 55, of Orangeville was clocked at 112 in a 50 zone in Caledon Village.

• At 4:10 p.m. that day, Carolyn Armstrong, 29, of Aurora was clocked at 110 km/h at the same location, and two hours later Bradley Cabral, 18, of Mississauga was charged with going 142 km/h on Highway 10 at Mistywood Drive.

• On August 11, at 10:30 p.m. Andrew de Vesser, 19, of Caledon was charged with stunt driving at Dixie Road and King Street.
