      Last March, Carly Way raised $2,600 when she shaved her head and donated her hair to be made into wigs for needy patients. The proceeds went to the Barrie Cancer Society. But now it is Carly, and kids like her, who are "in need".

Orangeville man wins $200,000 playing Keno
      Laldeo Sankar of Orangeville won $200,000 from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming commission's Daily Keno draw on August 9, 2009. "I was at home when I realized I won. I was so excited I couldn't sleep," Mr. Sankar said of the win. Sankar is 49 and currently unemployed. He is single with two children and plans to use his windfall to help his children.
