      Our Branch attended the District Convention at Penatangushene this past weekend and we are very proud to learn that our own Marilyn Murray came first overall in the Province for her Scrapbook. She also finished in third place in the Bulletin Competition.

      125 YEARS AGO Thursday, October 9, 1884 • A meeting at Allen's Hall in Horning's Mills has been held to consider how to check the increasing taxation being imposed on ratepayers in Melancthon's Old Survey. With some of the most heavily taxed present, the meeting was told of auditors' reports from several townships.
