Melancthon council clarifies stand on quarry

      Prior to a public meeting Monday involving all affected provincial ministry officials and the township planner, Melancthon Council outlined its official stance on a proposed 2,400-acre quarry. The public resolution outlining the stance had been drafted earlier in the day behind closed doors.
