High winds and rain did not deter the crowds for the event, as filled the parking lot and the roadside to the south almost to County Road 109 as well as northward to a distance beyond the former railway corridor. The people needn't have walked so far. Brian Logel said there would have been ample parking in the field beside the gravelled parking lot.
