McGuinness record to 7-0

Logan Cotton McGuinness continues to make a name for himself, racking up his seventh win in as many tries to remain unbeaten, posting a 40-35, 39- 36, 39-36 decision over Jorge Banos (4-5-3) in Montreal.

The Orangeville fighter came out strong from start to finish. He went to work on his Montreal opponent, scoring to the body of Banos and then going upstairs with some solid hits in the opening round.

Trading some back and forth action in the middle rounds where Banos seemed more fluid and was able to score some nice combinations and taking the seconds round on two of the judges' scorecards.

McGuinness regained ground in the final round, putting his mark on the win with a knockdown of his opponent with forty seconds left in the fight.

McGuinness managed to put get both hands in action, scoring a nice four punch combination, ending with a left hand that drove Banos down to the mat in the corner where he stayed for a count of seven.
