Headwaters board approves hospital's balanced scorecard
      At its September meeting the board of directors of Headwaters Health Care Centre approved the hospital's new "balanced scorecard," designed to show how the institution is performing. "The scorecard provides a clear picture of how we are performing against provincial and hospital-set benchmarks," said Headwaters CEO Cholly Boland.

Proposed forest bylaw slammed by landowners

      Faced with the news that it may receive no increase in provincial funds for the fiscal year 2009-10, Headwaters Health Care Centre is studying scaling back services at its Shelburne campus, the former Shelburne District Hospital, as one way of maintaining the same level of services elsewhere with less money.
