It's no secret that the human body needs water. This fact is not questioned but most people don't know exactly the health benefits of water are. As well how much water should be consumed to keep their bodies working effectively. When skin cells are hydrated, they expand and the skin appears smooth. Hair shiny and full, the nails appear healthier not as brittle with plenty of water. A significant fraction of the human body is water 60% in adult males and 55% in adult females. Lean muscle tissue contains about 75% water by weight. Blood contains 95% water, body fat contains 14% water and bone has 43% water. People who consume enough water on a regular basis are less likely to suffer from depression or irritability. Blood pressure and body temperature can also benefits from water.

Drinking cold water is very popular the idea is the body has to work harder to warm the water to its natural thermal level hence burning more calories. Take a second and consider the benefits of drinking hot water. Hot water and lemon or tea can jump start your day and stimulate your digestive system. Or a cup of warm water can be very calming right before bed. Lack of water is the # 1 trigger of daytime fatigue. Preliminary research indicates that drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly decrease joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers. Lack of water can trigger fuzzy short term memory,

Trouble with basic math and even difficulty focusing. Staying hydrated decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45% plus it can slash breast cancer by 79%. So next time you are in need of a pick me up, reach for a glass.
