Youth Education Officer is reminding everyone that the Poster & Poetry Competition is underway. This is normally done through their respective schools, but entries will be accepted at the Legion directly. The deadline for submissions is no later than November 6, 2009. Applications and rules can be found on the Legion website - RoyalCanadianLegion.ca, under 'Student Contests'. The Dominion winners have an opportunity to lay a wreath on behalf of the Youth of Canada November 11, 2010 in Ottawa.

The Poppy Campaign of 2009 is in full swing and continues to and including Wednesday November 11, 2009. Legion members are asked to sign up to do their duty as a canvasser.

The Nov 7 Remembrance dinner tickets for members are available at the branch Neil Welsh will play soft music for the Veterans while they eat dinner and then he will move upstairs for Karaoke from 9pm to 1am.

Sunday Nov 25th join us for Euchre at the Legion starting at 1:00pm (doors open at noon) cost $10.00. Open to the public. All money given back in prizes.
