Hannah Early, a native of Shelburne was recently named to the Women's U19 Canadian lacrosse team. More ... TWISTERS GYMNASTS Amber Rae and Alexia Emslie were two local athletes competing at the 2009 Tour Selection meet held in Mississauga this past weekend. Rae finished third overall in the level Eight competition, earning a spot on the eight member Ontario team traveling to compete at Cal State Fullerton University in February of 2010.Emslie finished 25th overall among 57 athletes competing in level seven. Both athletes will be joined by fellow club members on the weekend of November 27-29 when they compete at the Provincial Qualifier being hosted by the Twisters Gymnastic Club at their facility in Orangeville.
