Photo/MIKE MALONEY DOWNTOWN ORANGEVILLE came to life on Friday after Santa Claus himself dropped into town, lighting up the night when he turned on the Christmas tree out front of town hall to officially kick off the festive season. In addition to turning on the lights, he also handed out the first gifts of the season to one boy and one girl picked at random from the crowd.
