The Orangeville-based Amaranth Lions Club says its 2010 fundraising lottery cash calendars are selling fast.

"If you need a Christmas or any occasion gift that keeps on giving all year, with a chance to win more than once since your ticket goes back in the draw each time for the 365 days, this is the one," the club said it a news release.

Total cash prizes are more than $10,000 for the year. You can win from $50 to $500 on the daily draws, and only 2,000 calendars are being sold. All net proceeds of this fundraiser will support Community Living Dufferin, Theatre Orangeville, the Headwaters Health Care Centre's dialysis unit, Big Brothers/Sisters, Dog Guides of Canada and Sight First II.

The club will have the $20 calendars for sale at the Candy Cane Fair at Headwaters hospital this Saturday, Nov. 28, at the Orangeville Mall on Saturday, Dec. 5 and at other locations to be announced. You can also order one by calling Maxine at 519-938-9882 or Marian at 519-941-6345.
