194 calls in month to Crime Stoppers

In November, Crime Stoppers of Simcoe- Dufferin-Muskoka received 194 calls that assisted police in clearing 10 cases, involving breakins, thefts, possession of stolen property, narcotics and other Criminal Code offences.

The resultant investigations resulted in four arrests and seven charges being laid.

Callers to Crime Stoppers never have to identify themselves and if the case proves to be successful, you are eligible for a cash reward. Anyone with information on a crime that has occurred should call 1-800-222- 8477.
