USING HAND-HELD CELL PHONES while driving is now illegal in Ontario and Orangeville police are advising motorists that there will be continuous random spot checks on town streets and the law will be enforced. Police Chief Joe Tomei said the first distracted driving charge was laid the day following the legislation and six charges have been laid, so far.
