FLAG DAY:

FLAG DAY: February 15 was Family Day and National Flag Day and the Orangeville 5th Scouts made their presence known at the events at the Alder Street Recreation Centre with lots of flags. The Scouts are pictured with leaders Maurice Regimbal, Doug Bewley and Rene Lalonde, Mayor Rob Adams and Councillors Sylvia Bradley and Mary Rose, as well as members of the Orangeville Auxiliary Police. The Fifth Orangeville Scouts put up flags on residential lawns on six holidays per year for those who pay an annual fee of $35. They have about 90 subscribers so far in Erin, Alton, Shelburne and Orangeville and all funds raised go towards registration and camp fees for the troop.
