SKATE CANADA ORANGEVILLE found itself well represented at the 2010 Skate Canada Central Ontario March Mania competition held this past weekend in Innisfil. 26 local skaters were among the approximately 1200 competitors entered in the event. For their efforts, Orangeville athletes returned with three gold, three silver and two bronze medals in addition to 11 top five placings in their respective divisions. With the end of the season fast approaching, the club is now focusing their attention on rehearsals and final preparations for their annual Winter Carnival on March 27th. Two shows are scheduled for this event, a 1 p.m matinee as well as a 7 p.m. evening show to be held at the Tony Rose arena which will showcase club members both young and old. Photo/MIKE MALONEY
