The Tigers came on strong but could not get the tying goal and Hamburg sealed the game with a late goal for a 4-2 win. Alecia Darrah played a solid game in net and kept the Tigers in the game.

The Tigers now needed to win their next two games in order to get into the finals. Their next game was against the Kitchener Lady Rangers. The Rangers opened the scoring in the first period on a powerplay. Tigers came right back as Andrea Gee rushed down the left side and centered a pass to the streaking Nobile as she put the puck behind the goalie. The rest of the game was a tight affair as neither team scored in the second and third periods. The game went into a shootout and Illick ended the game as she scored on a back hand deke to win the game 2-1. Emily Henderson was outstanding in net as the Rangers outshot the Tigers.

The Tigers moved on to another must win game as they faced the host Norfolk Hericanes. Riley Kirsten scored on a shorthanded breakaway with 24 seconds left in the first period to put the Tigers ahead by 1-0. Illick made it 2-0 from Beam and Sara Martin in the second period. Norfolk cut the lead to 2-1 in the third and Martin scored into the empty net to end the game at 3-1 for the Tigers. Once again, the Tigers were outshot by a 2-1 margin but Henderson played another excellent game in the nets.

The Tigers had made it back into the finals against

familiar opponent --- the Hamburg, NY team. Unfortunately, the US team got off to a great start as they took a 2-0 lead in the first period. The second period was also all Hamburg as they scored 3 more goals for a 5-0 lead. The Tigers finished the game strong as Martin scored from Illick and Beam to make it 5-1 and Beam from Martin and Illick made it 5-2. That was how the game ended.
