Fundraising Fair coming to Guelph
The Upper Grand Learning Foundation is hosting its sixth annual Fundraising Fair. It’s free and open to the public.
This year’s Fair is at a new date and location – April 19th at the Royal Brock Best Western Hotel (corner of Stone and Gordon) in Guelph.
Quality vendors representing everything from chicken, cheese, chocolate, magazines, disc jockey services, coupon programs and more will be ready to help you make the best decisions for your needs. If you are interested in raising funds for your school, club, team, church etc you will have the opportunity to sample products, gather information and talk to the experts.
The popular mini-seminars are back with new topics: at 1:30 and 6:30 Gayle Valeriote, Manager of Training and Consultation at the Volunteer Centre Guelph/Wellington will offer her experience on “Fundraising – It’s more than about the money” and at 2:30 and 5:30 Mary Lloyd, partner in Ralph Basset Associates (professional fundraisers and event organizers) will share what’s in her “Fundraising Toolbox”. Let the experts help you plan a fundraiser to maximize your efforts and profits.
The Fair, complete with music, door prizes, and free eco-friendly gift to the first 100 attendees, will be open from 1 to 8 p.m. Admission and parking are free.
