Dufferin OPP have laid charges in connection with a double fatality on Highway 10 last November.

On the evening of Nov. 24, a southbound 2002 Ford sedan crossed into the northbound lane and collided head-on with a northbound 1998 Mercury sedan, taking the lives of Tali Cohean, 31, and her one-year-old daughter Healey Illouz.

They were in the Ford, driven by Israel Illouz, 24, of Toronto, who suffered

on-life-threatening injuries, as did the driver and passenger in the Mercury.

Last Friday, April 9, Mr. Illouz was arrested by Dufferin OPP on two counts each of dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing bodily harm. He also attended a bail hearing.
