NCCP Course offered

Attention coaches. A National Coaching Certificate Program

NCCP) Introduction to Competition course is being offered in Orangeville, hosted by Orangeville Parks and Recreation.

The Introduction to Competition A course will be held at the Alder Street Community Centre between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on May 15 and 16th. The cost for this course is $100 which includes both a workbook and manual.

as of April 1, 2004 the old NCCP Theory 1 and 2 courses have been replaced by the new Introduction to Competition multi sport courses.

Introduction to Competition is offered in two parts - part A and part B, each requiring approximately 13 hours to complete.

Part A covers the topics of Ethical Decisions as well as nutrition and planning a practice.

Applicants wishing to participate must be at least 16 years of age as of the course date. Space is limited so applicants are encouraged to contact Gary Gravelle at
