MS Walk committee would like to give thanks
The Committee for the MS Walk, held in Orangeville on April 18, would like to thank the many people who made this day a success.
John Lockyer hosted the kick-off event at Dairy Queen.
Fines Home Hardware and Orangeville Window and Doors sponsored the checkpoints at Credit Meadows School and the Orangeville Town Hall.
K & G Trophy supplied a checkpoint and engraving.
Dave Young, from Orangeville Window and Door Systems, also provided the barbeques.
Dufferin Veterinary Hospital, Money Concepts, B & D & Sometimes T Contracting, Brian Smith Financial Services, Arthurs Fuels, Mackhall Mobility, Blackstock Ford Lincoln, The Clark Family, Greenwood Ready-Mix Ltd., Erskine’s Service Centre Ltd. and Leggett’s collision were kilometre sponsors.
Tired walkers took advantage of massages by Massage Care.
Jay Grant, from DJ4U provided the sound system.
There were vans from MacMaster Pontiac Buick GMC to transport the food and volunteers.
The Sobey’s warehouse in Milton donated the sausages and Pizzaville donated pizzas.
All the other food for breakfast and lunch was donated by Westons, Zehrs, No Frills, Sobey’s, Metro and Price Chopper, along with the MS Society.
Starbucks donated the coffee and Watermaker donated coolers and water.
