Twisters ‘Think Pink’ hosts

Photo/MIKE MALONEY Orangeville Twisters Gymnastics and Trampoline Club welcomed over 400 athletes from across Central Ontario this past weekend as they hosted their annual "Think Pink" Spring Fling gymnastics competition.

A total of 22 clubs including Kincardine, Niagara Falls, Pickering , Vaughan, Cambridge and Etobicoke to name just a few were represented at this invitational meet for athletes in levels 2-5.

Orangeville and the Twisters club themselves were well represented at this event as well.

Pink’ hosts

A total of 50 club members were entered in the competition with a number of the girls earning first and second place finishes.

Sarah Edwards and Taylor Sheppard lead the way for the Twisters, placing first overall in their respective flights while Hannah Lee, Cheyenne Schuler, Courtney Sefton, Meghan Mara, Taylor Green and Jenna VanderGeissen all recorded second place finishes.
