PETERBOROUGH LAKERS

PETERBOROUGH LAKERS defender Joel Wasson-McQuigge tries to contain Orangeville Northmen Adam Jones in game one action of their Ontario Lacrosse Association Junior A quarter-final series. The game marked the return of Jones to the Orangeville line-up since being side-lined by injuries all season. After shaking off some early rust, Jones would lead the Northmen with seven goals and one assist on the way to an 11-4 win for the Northmen. Unfortunately for Orangeville though, game two did not go quite as planned with the Lakers coming out on top of an 8-4 final score. Game three goes Friday night at the Tony Rose with the two teams making the trek back to Peterborough on Sunday for game four of the best of five series.
