Toms Martial Arts moving

This Saturday, July 24, Toms Martial Arts will move to a new location at 25 Centennial Road, Unit 11-13 with the ribbon cutting ceremonies starting at 3 p.m. The event will be open to the public with the festivities starting at p.m.

Sensei Michael Toms has been training for over 20 years recognized grading under three-time Canadian Champion Master Rick Joslin of Joslin’s Mixed Martial Arts in Hamilton Ontario.

Toms has 14 world titles, having also won many national and regional tournament championships.

His students compete in Martial Arts tournaments on an international, national and regional level and have received five world champions.

Mr. Toms opened his first dojo on Broadway in the summer of 2000. He and his demo team have performed at local community events including the Orangeville Founders Festival, Orangeville Children’s Festival and other regional fairs and special events.

The new 5,400 square foot facility includes a fitness area complete with gym equipment, pro shop, wall-to-wall safety mats, full-length mirrors, standing and free hanging heavy bags, student lounge with wireless internet and a parent viewing area.

Festivities include light refreshments, along with games, raffles and prizes including a new barbecue. As well, Mr. Toms is offering six months free membership for new enrollments (subject to some conditions).
