Storm rains on Waterloo
Orangeville Storm brought their 'A' game to the pitch last Friday. Playing against Waterloo, the 1996 Boys posted a convincing 5-2 win in U14 Boys regular season play.
Closing in on the half, Mitchell Fife put Orangeville on the board with his first of two goals on the night.
A pair of singles – one from Evan Clark and the other from Drew Glassford – made it 3-0 for the Storm before Waterloo cashed in with two of their own to keep things interesting.
With the clock winding down, Fife would give Orangeville some breathing room notching his second goal of the night before Clark went top-shelf from just inside the half on a free kick to seal off the scores sheet once and for all, clinching the 5-2 win for Orangeville.
On the back end, Austin Vanenburg, Liam Maynard, Jacob Lockhurst and Jeremy Glazier were the backbone of a solid defensive effort by the Storm while Phillip French put in another stellar performance between the pipes for Orangeville.
