Saturday, August 7th is our combination Trunk, Garage and Bake Sale from 8 am to 2 pm. Come early to get a spot for your vehicle for $10. and display your sale items….. first come, first served.

Our Wednesday night Euchre continues weekly throughout the summer months and attendance is picking up. $10. to play and all monies go back into cash prizes. Our next Sunday Euchre is August 8th at 1 pm. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners.

Sign-up sheets are posted on the Sports Board for the August 22nd Golf Scramble.

This week’s Saturday night Karaoke is being hosted by Jill Phillips from 9 pm until 1.

Tickets for our 75th Anniversary Dinner/ Dance on September 11th can be purchased at the bar for $25.00 a person.

WWII, Korean Veterans and Peacekeepers, come in and sign-up for our Annual Veterans Picnic on Sunday, August 15th. Deadline for registration is August 10th. Our Presidents’ photos are back up on the Lounge wall thanks to our President and House Manager.

We have a bus going to the CNE for Warriors’ Day on Saturday, August 21st. The cost is $15. Veterans and Colour Party go free.

On August 3rd, Branch 233 awarded 11 students a $750 bursary. We wish them good luck with their continued education.

Branch 220, Shelburne

Bingo continues every Monday, doors open at 6:30 p.m. in the back hall, early bird at 7:15 p.m. The jackpot continues to grow until won. Bingo also on Wednesday, August 4th with a separate jackpot of $500.00. Also, every Monday afternoon Euchre players register at 2 p.m. and play at 2:30 p.m. Eight tables (32 players) again on Monday, August 2nd. Come out for comradeship and great cards.

Veterans in the area get together every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. for fellowship, conversations and to enjoy the goodies provided by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Shelburne Legion. All Veterans in the area are welcome as are their wives and widows of Veterans. Come out for a great morning of socializing. Veterans support each other. The number of Veterans coming out on Wednesday continues to grow.

Fiddleville is underway and in full swing - Bingo was Wednesday, August 4th at the Legion, back hall, open at 6:30 p.m., early bird at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5th wing night and meat spins starting at 5:00 p.m. in the front hall along with jam sessions. Friday and Saturday, August 6th & 7th we have live entertainment. Breakfast starts at 8 a.m. on Friday August 6th and the Legion is open for meals until noon on Sunday. Never go hungry, stop in anytime for breakfast, lunch and/or supper prepared by Shelburne Legion Volunteers along with cadets and firefighters assisting.
