CLOCK DONATED: Headwaters Health Care Centre has given the Dufferin County Museum and Archives (DCMA) a grandfather clock that was handcrafted by Alfred Sidney Smith, a native of Essex County who apprenticed in Bolton, worked in Mono and retired to Tottenham and later Alliston and built and donated a number of grandfather clocks to local hospitals. This one graced the former Shelburne District Hospital. Shown with the clock (left to right) are DCMA Curator Wayne Townsend, Headwaters Shelburne Auxiliary members Vivian Sawden and Shirley Brown, Shelburne Auxiliary president Dot Tovey and Cholly Boland, Headwaters President and CEO.
