Back to school, back to books
Back to school … back to books. Return to school ads are on TV and the stores are overflowing with back-to-school gear. But what about your little ones who are not yet at that age to look forward to this great new beginning?
Come to the Library! The Orangeville Public Library has an awesome autumn program lined up for your young ones from babies up to age nine.
Brochures are now available at both locations of the library or on the library’s website at www. orangeville.library.on.ca
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, September 21 for registration day for all children’s autumn programs. Registration begins at 10 a.m. by phone only to the library location offering your program choice. Calls are timelogged and returned by staff in the order they are received to confirm your placement in the program or on the waiting list.
New for the fall is a Bouncing Babies Program that will now be offered at the Mill St. location in addition to two programs already offered at Alder. Another new program is Afternoon Adventure offered at the Mill St. location. This program is offered on Friday afternoons and is ideal for children who attend Kindergarten alternate Fridays. You may register for the Fridays you may attend.
PAWS TO READ is also returning for the autumn. This excellent program is offered to children who would benefit from building self-confidence or for those who enjoy animals and reading to them. The program is offered at the Mill St. location on Wednesday afternoons from 4 to 5 starting September 8. You may register at the Mill St. location Circulation Desk.
The Library is partnering again with Headwaters Arts festival to bring you three great workshops. Please check the autumn brochure for details.
